I continue to be amazed at how peaceful, friendly, and fun the protests are. There is an amazing, uplifting spirit of camaraderie. The very small pro-bill contingent was a negligible presence, which was mostly ignored. I never saw one act or instance of incivility, let alone violence. There are families everywhere. And, yet again, when the firefighter procession, led by bagpipes, showed up, and the crowd went wild.
