We don't elect kings in the United States of America!
The People of Wisconsin didn't elect GOVERNOR Scott Walker as their dictator!
His implicit threat to call out the National Guard to quell any protests is what we expect from dictatorships in the Middle East, not from our governors in the US.
What is the National Guard going to do? Shoot upon peacefully assembled public school teachers, coming together to address their government for legitimate grievances, as is their constitutional right?
This is part and parcel with Scott Walker's M.O.
His is deliberately attempting to sidestep the deliberative democratic process.
The current budget is in place until June.
There is time. There is time to negotiate. There is time to deliberate. There is time to compromise.
And, there is time to listen to the voices of The People of Wisconsin and their Representatives.
And, if you don't think you should have to take the time to listen to your own constituents?
If Scott Walker doesn't think he should have to engage in the democratic process?
There's always the RECALL measure.
